Sharing God’s Love with Adults who have a Developmental Disability

St. Paul’s began a partnership in 2009 with Immanuel Christian Reformed Church and Trinity Anglican Church to sponsor this renewal initiative.  Regular meetings of 20+ individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities are held bi-weekly, supported by volunteers from the participating churches. Worship, learning and fellowship are facilitated by music, Bible stories, crafts and prayer. Many other informal activities are arranged through-out the year.    Several of these adults subsequently began to regularly attend St. Paul’s church services and activities and are warmly welcomed by the congregation who seek to build a “comfortable pew” for these members of our community.
