Dr. Arthur Langford Study Series

This study is held annually in honor of Dr. Langford, a member of St. Paul’s and a well-known teacher and scientist who challenged St. Paul’s to provide more teaching that would help Christians grow in their understanding and faithful living in a scientific age.  His faith informed his science and his science informed his faith.   Dr. Langford passed away in 2007. St. Paul’s has since held an annual workshop in Dr. Langford’s honour to discuss humanity’s place in the universe.   Each year, a guest theologian is invited to lead the work-shop and this year the topic is “Science, God and Evangelism” with speaker The Reverend Bob Geddes, who served the congregation of South Gate church in Hamilton for 18 years.
